Issue #54: 🚨 CAUTION: Paid ChatGPT courses are a waste of money

Two things are on my mind this week. The first is about ChatGPT in the marketing community and why you should avoid “Experts” at all costs. Next, we have an invite to our monthly live training. Let’s get into it!
🤖 Marketing Tip: There are no ChatGPT Experts or Gurus
I’ve been seeing more ads promoting ChatGPT courses…and I’m going to step out on a limb here and say they are all a waste of money.
The simple fact is that there are no ChatGPT “experts” at this moment in time. We’re all still learning what’s possible with this tech.
So if you haven’t gotten yourself an account yet, go get one and start playing around. There are communities of folks on LinkedIn, TikTok, & Facebook all sharing ways they’ve used ChatGPT and providing prompts, examples, and inspiration 100% FREE.
All of the marketing gurus selling ChatGPT courses are just recycling the same concepts shared on these channels and trying to sell them to make a quick buck. Worse, since the technology is brand new, these courses will be out of date in no time.
So if you’re thinking about picking up a paid course, please think again. Take this time to test out the platform and engage in the community. This is a very exciting time to be in the marketing world, embrace it.
