You might be wondering…what makes December 19th & 20th so important? And why is Avi being so hyperbolic?
I assure you I’m not trying to be hyperbolic and the answer to why the next 2 days are so important can be found in our data from last December.
Last year, Christmas fell on a Monday and our best ad response rate over the last 18 months was on that Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. And it’s not even close to the next best response period. Those days were like a late Christmas gift to us!
Now I’m not a behavioral analyst, but I’ll take a stab at why we saw such a response. Many businesses treat December as a “Holiday” month. People are coasting till the new year with company parties and personal holiday obligations filling their time. And then the 26th hits and it’s like a slap to the face. Oh sh**! Time to get moving!
But those dates were the 26th, 27th, and 28th so why am I making a big deal out of the 19th & 20th?
Because you want to get on their radar before they even know they’ll be looking at their radar. You want to be the last dream they have before they wake up.
So reach out to your prospects. No need to make it business formal. Just reach out, wish them “Happy Holidays”, and make these 2 days the most important of this year and the next.
