We all know we need to invest more in video…but these data points prove it. I’ll also include a video “cheat code” so you can get the most out of every video you shoot!
📈 Marketing Tip: Invest in Short Form Video + A Shortcut
Both B2B and B2C brands are seeing high ROI from their investment in short-form video. Here’s the proof:
Marketing video formats compared by low, average, and high ROI
In terms of ROI from all video types, the short form is going to get you the biggest bang for your buck. But who has time to record a new video each and every day AND run a successful business?
You’d be surprised, but EVERYONE has the bandwidth…if they do it right.
Notice in the chart above that long-form videos, interviews, and live videos also have a high ROI.
So here’s how you capitalize:
  1. Start by creating long-form video content. This could be a webinar, interview, video podcast, live AMA, etc.…
  2. Distribute the long-form piece as normal
  3. Get a team member or outsourced team to break that content into bite-sized videos for distribution across social media.
Do that each and every month, and you’ll be able to profit from your long-form AND short-form content without taking up too much of your already limited time.
📘 Take a look at HubSpot’s State of Inbound Report
The data points I pulled for the above tip came directly from HubSpot’s State of Inbound Report. There is a ton of great information, and I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
Unfortunately, it is a gated piece of content, but I saved you the form fill and link you directly to the report. Enjoy!
